The customer's main system software issues processing orders and warehouses orders to the .order module. The .order module breaks down such overall orders into individual items. The module then coordinates the manual and automated warehouse processes as well as locations.
The .order module assesses the individual items in a customer order and controls the following either automatically or manually:
- coordination of automated warehouse areas
- coordination of manual warehouse areas
- coordination of orders for the order picking module
- checking of the individual items in the loading position for order conformity
- collective response to the ERP system with the processed customer order for billing and preparing the corresponding shipping papers
